SOC 2, developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), is a leading information security framework designed to evaluate a service organization’s controls related to security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. While the Type I audit assesses the design of internal controls at a point in time, the Type II audit goes a step further evaluating their effectiveness over a sustained period.
Connectability’s SOC 2 Type II report was issued with no exceptions, receiving a “clean” audit opinion from Sensiba, demonstrating the strength and consistency of our controls in day-to-day operations.
“Successfully completing the Type II audit is more than a compliance checkbox. It proves that we’re not only implementing the right controls, but that we’re living them every day,” said Brad Shafran, President of Connectability. “Our clients trust us with their most critical systems, and this certification reinforces our responsibility to protect them.”
Connectability continues to lead by example in providing secure, reliable managed IT and cybersecurity services to Canadian businesses. This latest achievement affirms our commitment to staying ahead of evolving risks and industry standards.
