At Connectability, our journey began with a passion for technology and a visionary leader. Ted Shafran, President and Founder, whose fascination with computers began at a young age. He embraced the world of computing, becoming a trailblazer in an era where technology was just starting to unfold.
Ted’s journey took a significant turn when he decided to turn his passion into a profession. After training as a software engineer, he embarked on an entrepreneurial adventure while still in his final year of university. In 1995, after successfully leading a software company to grow to 80 employees, and offices in Toronto, Montreal, New York and Los Angeles, Ted sold the business to focus on the future of IT infrastructure, and Connectability was born.
Ted founded Connectability to provide tailored IT support with the aim of helping businesses across the Greater Toronto Area achieve their long-term objectives seamlessly. Fast forward to today, and we’re proud to be celebrating over 25 years of serving businesses in the Toronto area. Our remarkable growth over the past few years stands as a testament to our customer-centric approach to IT service and support.
