Businesses are doing everything they can to keep their company operating. Most businesses have moved to a remote workforce and are diligently creating plans for what life will look like under our new “normal”. For starters, you’ll need to figure out how your team will communicate with your various stakeholders and collaborate in a remote world. You have to find new ways to stay connected to your clients, partners and team.
Microsoft Teams can help! It gives you the ability to chat with your team, conduct meetings, send documents, and even collaborate on those documents – all in one location. Since lots of business people already know the basics of Microsoft Teams, we wanted to provide some less-known tricks that can help you and your team be more productive and efficient.
One great tool in Microsoft Teams that most people don’t know about is the command box. The command box is located at the top of the program window and can be used to complete commonly used tasks in Team. You can search for specific items or people, take quick actions and even launch applications.
Teams also has over 150 different extensions, and they can all be accessed in a chat or the command box. To master the command box, all you will need to do is type the slash (/) or at sign (@) in the command and do your searches.
